Herbstalk is a grassroots, Boston-area herbal event that teachers people about plants. It connects people with plants and spreads awareness about herbalism. It envisions a world in which people of all backgrounds have an understanding of herbs that can be used to heal, feed and nurture us all. Tash Penman, Founder of Holistic Health Herbalist, has a background in herbal and essential oil studies.

In the blog, you will find articles written on specific healing plants as well as instructions for do-it-yourself medicine making, herbal infused recipes, and ideas for living vibrantly. A space for my musings and experiences working with herbs for my family and friends, and sharing that joy with my community. I talk about the medicinal and edible uses of plants, as well as garden tips. Many of the plants I talk about are grown in my garden, some are weeds and natives.
